Commissions

I get regular requests to produce one off pieces of art - everything from the mighty moose to Eeyore.  Although my style is often described as 'whimsical' and  my themes are often light hearted some of the pieces I have created are in memory of someone special and are commemorative.  

I create artwork in a variety of different sizes, from 5x5" upwards.  The largest piece I have created to date is A1 (approx 24 x 34").  I am sometimes able to scale up or scale down an idea to fit a particular budget but this is not always possible.

To obtain an estimate for a sea glass picture, please get in contact either by email or phone.  

The price is different for every picture and depends on the complexity of the design as well as the rarity of the glass.

The price of framing depends on the picture mounts, moulding and size - everything is bespoke made.

If you request a picture using lots of particularly unusual and rare colours that are hard to find this will add to the cost, and a deposit may be required if sea glass needs to be sourced from a sea glass collector.

I only use genuine sea glass which can be very valuable.

I am also very happy to use sea glass from your own collection.

3.  Is the completed artwork required by a particular time?

4.  What size would you like me to work to? 

5.  Are you able to collect from my studio in Harpenden (I can deliver locally) ?  (Postage is extra and will be sent special delivery)

6.  What is your budget?

Once we have agreed on a budget and time frame I will send some draft images to you.  If you are happy with the drafts then I will make it up into a final piece.  If you live locally then you can pay on pick up/delivery.  If you live further afield then payment would be required before the image is sent out.
